Fake Jaitley on Twitter, real files complaint

Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley became the latest victim of cyber crime as his fake profile was created on a popular social networking website.
The Bharatiya Janata Party member has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police, alleging an unknown person has created a fake Twitter account in his name.
The complaint states that someone has “created an account in the name of ‘@Jaitleyarun’, which is in circulation on the website www.twitter.com”.
Jaitley is not the first MP to become a victim of cyber crime. Last year, senior BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy’s personal assistant had also filed a complaint with the EOW alleging that an unknown person had created a fake profile of Rudy on ‘Facebook’. Also, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi’s fake account had also been created on Facebook.
